Well,  the first batch I did did not appear colored initially ... hmmmm.  So 
I waited
it out and at the end of the cook it was pale tomoto color.  I tried to dress 
it up a bit with black oxide and over smidgened. So to brighten it up I did a 
bit of raspberry.
Well, I have a clay-mauve sort of color.  (Will post the both colors in the 
file later.)

Doing a smaller batch now with the other half of the colorant and got a 
deeper 
tomato color right off, so will see if turns to a ruby red color after the 
cook or as
it cools.  Hoping it will.  I was afraid to alter it in the least this time 
because I need
to see the unaltered color.  What I should have done the first time round but 
....
did not.
